My site, the ever-gracious Egosystem, has been out of commission for some weeks now.
Perhaps you were wondering why.
I shall inform you.
The not-so-gracious hosts of this site fumble-fucked away my mysql database.
Well, the database itself was there, just all the data disappeared.
Could they put in a backup? No.
Could they explain what happened? No.
Did they apologize? No.
Did they offer a free month of service? No.
Did they tell me to go piss on myself? In so many words.
So, as the take-action kind of dude I am, I will leaving my host of six years. I've found a better partner.
As this action takes place, there may be bumps in the road. But bear with me - all will return to normal (read: straight-up lame-ass) within the next month.
EDIT - forgot to mention that I pulled a backup of the db out of the archives from a year ago. So, I only ended up losing all my pictures, and all the posts for the last year. No big deal really, just all the posts about the first year of my daughter's life.
